Richard Lloyd, legendary guitarist and founding member of Television, is coming with his group for a night of pure rock energy. The show promises the kind of fiery guitar work that has defined his career, from the early CBGB’s days to later collaborations with Matthew Sweet and John Doe. Lloyd will be joined by Kevin Tooley and Sean Semour, making this a full band performance that keeps the music sharp and alive.

Remains a hero to generations of outsider guitarists who had their musical senses ignited by his seminal work in the ’70s with , or perhaps by his playing in the early ’90s with or his solo output that began with 1979’s .

His latest solo album is titled . The 10-song effort finds Lloyd singing and playing guitar with as much fire and urgency as ever on a collection of sharp, snappy tunes that fuse punk energy with pop, rock, soul and jazz sensibilities. It’s all accented by his trademark jagged, exploratory guitar work, high-tension licks and hot-wire soloing – or as he calls it, “fragmented spits of notes.”
