Why this matters

When palliative care first entered Gail’s life, it wasn’t something she wanted to hear. No one does.
But it’s impossible to describe how grateful she and her family are for the care and support they received from St Columba’s Hospice Care.

Through the Hospice at Home service, the Edinburgh hospice, and the counselling support Gail received in the months afterwards, the team were there in the darkest moments – steady, compassionate, and unwavering. All of this support was provided at no cost to the family.

The Midnight Jam – Gail Logan, Keith Logan and Lisa Reiland – will be playing live on the day before what would have been Gail’s mum’s 75th birthday, making this evening especially meaningful.

All proceeds from the night will go directly to the hospice.

It costs £14.5 million a year for St Columba’s Hospice Care to continue providing end-of-life care, free of charge, to people and families in the community.
