👣 Route Step Outdoors Hike
💦 Twin Falls Trail
📍 Meet-up Location:

(Old Chase Bank — meet in the back of the Safeway parking lot)
🗓 Saturday, May 16th
⏰ Meet at 10:00 AM
Join us for a peer-led hike to Twin Falls, a classic North Bend trail that follows the river through lush forest and leads to multiple beautiful waterfalls.
From the trailhead, we’ll parallel the river, moving through mossy woods, seasonal wildflowers, skunk cabbage in the spring, and berry patches later in the year. This trail has a little bit of everything — gentle river walking, short climbs, switchbacks, and rewarding viewpoints.
As we move away from the river, the trail climbs in stages with a few steady hills and switchbacks. We’ll pass landmarks like The Benches, the Big Tree, and cross the Big Bridge, where you’ll get incredible views of the valley and the cascades below. The final overlook gives you a close-up view of the waterfalls that make Twin Falls what it is.
This hike can feel busy at times, but it’s worth it. We’ll move together at a supportive pace, take breaks as needed, and focus on connection — not speed.
