On January 4th, 2026, the Sluman and Bertrand family's world was turned upside down. Chris Sluman was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Chris, his wife Hailey, and their daughter Briar are incredible people who need our help now more than ever.

Chris's best path forward, with the highest chance of survival, involves two drugs that are approved but not covered in Ontario. Yesterday, January 22nd, Hailey, Chris, Tim, the pharmacy rep, and hospital administration met and learned that the cost of treatment is much higher than originally anticipated. Each treatment round will cost $100,000, and Chris will need 4-5 rounds. The total cost could reach $400,000-$500,000.
We need your help.

Join us at Stand With Sluman, a fundraiser to help cover the costs of Chris's treatment. Every single dollar counts. Come out for good drinks, fun entertainment, and great company—all for an amazing cause.
