Ready to start your journey into the world of miniature painting? This focused, two-hour session is designed to help you gain confidence and learn the core skills needed to get your models painted. We provide everything! Brushes, professional paints, and miniatures, so you can just show up and start creating.
With over 20 years of experience, David Cartagena brings a wealth of knowledge across every genre of the hobby, from historical and fantasy to sci-fi and comics. His expertise spans various scales, ranging from standard 28mm tabletop models to 75mm display figures.
After years of high-level commission work, David has also started painting professionally for MiniWargaming’s miniature wargame, Ravaged Star. Beyond the technical side, David is a firm believer in the mental health benefits of the hobby; he views painting as a powerful way to relax, decompress, and create. He is excited to share both his skills and his passion for this craft with every attendee.
No Supplies Needed: We’ve got you covered! All necessary materials are provided for use during the class. Whether you’ve never picked up a brush or are just looking for a solid starting point, this workshop is for you.
