- **Event Description**: Join us for the Annual Great Jack-o’-Lantern Spectacular Sail on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Belmont Lake State Park. Festivities begin at 3:00PM; the Jack-o’-Lanterns will set sail at approximately 6:15PM.  

In addition to the Jack-o’-Lantern Sail, there will be a kid friendly spooky house, balloon twisting, trick or treating, a petting zoo, children’s games and more! Everyone is welcome to join this spooky celebration and wear a Halloween costume. All activities are FREE.

Bring your carved pumpkin to be sailed on Belmont Lake! Space is limited to the first 50 jack-o-lanterns. To participate, please pre-register at bookwhen.com/jackolantern. Pumpkins must be between the size of a soccer ball and a basketball, and dropped off on the day of the event between 10:00am and 4:00pm. 

This event is sponsored by the Natural Heritage Trust and Connoisseur Media Long Island. Corporate contributors include North Atlantic Canoe and Kayak, Inc., New York Life, Beachside Valet, Renewal by Andersen, and Hicks Nurseries.
