With the help of his cousin and best friend Maritza, he performs the ritual himself, and then sets out to find the ghost of his murdered cousin and set it free. However, the ghost he summons is actually Julian Diaz, the school's resident bad boy, and Julian is not about to go quietly into death. He's determined to find out what happened and tie off some loose ends before he leaves. Left with no choice, Yadriel agrees to help Julian, so that they can both get what they want. But the longer Yadriel spends with Julian, the less he wants to let him leave.Longlisted for the National Book Award for Young People's Literature!A New York Times Bestseller!"This stunning debut novel from Thomas is detailed, heart-rending, and immensely romantic. I was bawling by the end of it, but not from sadness: I just felt so incredibly happy that this queer Latinx adventure will get to be read by other kids. Cemetery Boys is necessary: for trans kids, for queer kids, for those in the Latinx community who need to see themselves on the page. Don’t miss this book." —Mark Oshiro, author of Anger is a Gift and co-author of The Sun and the Star - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/north-andover/queer-book-club-cemetery-boys-by-aiden-thomas/100002001251447953 - **Event Categories**: art, literary-art, kids, trips-adventures - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 1 hour - Location: The Purple Couch Bookshop - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 0, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: North Andover - **state**: MA - **country**: United States - **location**: The Purple Couch Bookshop - **lat**: 42.6827788 - **long**: -71.1352548 - **full address**: The Purple Couch Bookshop, 350 Winthrop Ave. Unit 9B, North Andover, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Queer Book Club - Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events1/banners/227721a54fe1bee7805dea8dd4e569f5609b1d79de21dd9268b5525f07f1de57-rimg-w1200-h465-dc787878-gmir.jpg?v=1790063643 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Queer Book Club - Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas being held? - **A:** Queer Book Club - Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas takes place on Wed, 07 Oct, 2026 at 07:00 pm to Wed, 07 Oct, 2026 at 08:00 pm at The Purple Couch Bookshop, 350 Winthrop Ave. Unit 9B, North Andover, United States. - **Q**: Who is organizing Queer Book Club - Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas? - **A:** Queer Book Club - Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas is organized by The Purple Couch Bookshop. - **Q**: What has been the experience of attendees at The Purple Couch Bookshop's events? - **A:** Attendees have given The Purple Couch Bookshop a rating of 4/5 based on reviews from early attendees on AllEvents.
