Hop on the bus for a tour of the Albury Waste Management Centre, where you’ll learn what happens to your waste after it leaves the kerb and enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of Australia’s most advanced waste management facilities.
This exciting tour will take you to the Southern Valley Landfill (where the contents of your red-lidded general waste bin go), the Organics Transfer Site (to discover what happens to the contents of your green-lidded organics bin), and the SMART (Sustainable Management and Resource Training) Centre to learn about where the contents of your yellow-lidded recycling bin are processed. And that’s just the beginning - there’s so much more to learn and explore along the way!

School holiday tours fill up quickly, so secure your spot now to ensure you don’t miss out! 

After the tour, enjoy a complimentary fruit morning tea with the Halve Waste team, followed by an interactive recycling session. Please bring your own reusable drink bottle.
