Melissa Cundieff at Argenta Reading Series

MELISSA CUNDIEFF is the author of Darling Nova, selected by Alberto Ríos for the 2017 Autumn House Press Poetry Prize. She received an MFA from Vanderbilt University, and her poems appear in places such as Best of the Net, Crab Orchard Review, Ninth Letter, and Four Way Review. Originally from Texas, she lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
TREY MOODY was born in San Antonio, Texas. His first book, Thought That Nature (Sarabande Books, 2014), was selected by Cole Swensen for the Kathryn A. Morton Prize in Poetry. His writing has received support from the Academy of American Poets, Slope Editions, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and more recent work has appeared in The Antioch Review, The Cincinnati Review, Gulf Coast, Third Coast, and West Branch, among other journals. He teaches in the MFA program at Creighton University and lives in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Argenta Reading Series seeks to connect writers directly with their audience, to appreciate the written word, and understand better the person behind those words. Readings are monthly, in the Argenta United Methodist Church meeting space, and admission is free at all readings unless otherwise noted, though the series is supported by your donations and through a partnership with the William F. Laman Public Library of North Little Rock.
