Step into the world of bold elegance and clean, contemporary design in this full-day wire-wrapped jewelry workshop. You’ll learn the essential skills to create a complete suite of wire-wrapped pieces, versatile designs that can be delicate and refined or strikingly dramatic, depending on your style. Using the foundational techniques from your bracelet project, you’ll then scale up your skills to create an adjustable, faux wire-wrapped V-collar featuring advanced shaping methods. The result is a modern, versatile statement piece that showcases your craftsmanship.
Skill Level: Beginner – no experience required

Skills You’ll Learn
The feel of different metals and gauges, how to control, shape, and tame multiple wires, the architecture behind binding and banding, how to size and shape your bracelet for the perfect fit, and adding texture and “filigree drama” using twisted wire. By the end, you’ll understand the mechanics and finesse behind classic wire wrapping.

About the instructor
Francesca is a designer at heart and has been creating jewelry since early 1999. She is mostly self-taught, although she has taken workshops in almost all mediums. Francesca works intuitively, gathers inspiration and twists, turns, bashes, and burns it until she gets the desired outcome. Her work is bold, expressive, and filled with texture! Francesca has taught in the Carolinas, at national bead shows, and for almost 2 decades in the Nashville area as Francesca Lynn and has recently relocated back to the home of her heart, East Tennessee, where she started Studio Navarri.
