Come make a piece of DIY wall art using calligraphy! We will go through the design process from start to finish: sketching out your message (templates also available); tracing onto a pre-stained wood plaque; applying ink; and then sealing the art. The session will begin with a quick refresher on faux calligraphy—all skill levels welcome! You'll take home your finished art, a supply list for your future DIY projects, and a printable practice worksheet PDF.

About the Instructor
Emily Groth is a calligrapher and watercolor illustrator based near Knoxville, TN. In addition to creating wall art and printed stationery for her business Signed Cricket, she uses her 8+ years’ calligraphy experience for teaching beginner workshops around the Knoxville area.
