Bring your sketch books and drawing utensils for this combined Nature Journaling and Eagle Watch event. If you would like to request a paper nature journal from the Nature Center, please send us a DM with the number requested.

We will meet in the East Sentinel parking lot at 7:20 am and begin our short hike along the shoreline at 7:30 am. We will take a short hike along the shoreline to a resting spot to wait for the eagles and other birds to fly by. Eagles have a keen eye, so to avoid spooking them, we will make every effort to remain still and patient while we wait.

The following are recommended for the eagle watch:
- Please leave pets at home
- Wear neutral-colored clothing
- Hiking boots/ mud boots (the shore can get muddy)
- Collapsible chair (if you would like to sit while waiting)
- Binoculars
- Layer up for the cold
- Snacks
- A book
- Cameras are welcome
