You can make this easy by just sewing long strips together, or more complicated by creating designs and patterns out of the fabric strips. Mel will show you examples and talk about the different ways to execute a strip quilt. This is a beginner and intermediate friendly class, please already know how to use a sewing machine before taking this workshop. If you have your own sewing machine please bring that, otherwise we have some available for use in the Art Room. If you have fabric shears please bring those. You can bring your own fabric or purchace some on our retail side, we will also have some fabric you can practice with, but it's recommended to bring some of your own. NOTE: Reduced price member tickets are for folks with a monthly or yearly subscription membership to the 757 Creative ReUse Center. If you'd like to start your membership online, click here. You can also start your membership in store. If you do not have a subscription membership, please choose the General Admission ticket.
