Popular WTKR-TV News Anchor and Reporter Kurt Williams, himself a prostate cancer survivor-warrior, will deliver the keynote address, sharing insights on his own journey. Local favorite songstress Dee Polite, who lost an uncle to prostate cancer, will open with her rendition of "Black Butterf;y." There will also be a panel discussion with Kurt and other prostate cancer survivors, Numerous health vendors will have vendor tables, to include Sentara Health, a sponsor of the event, as well as Cooper-Mercer Institute, the American Diabetes Association, Sisters Network, and others.
