From the Pen of the Fuku Kaichō
Greetings to all NKJF members, and to our friends in the martial arts community.
I hope and pray you are enjoying a blessed and truly prosperous New Year.
This message is to notify everyone and remind you to begin planning to attend our NKJF Spring Gasshuku, taking place the weekend of April 24–25 in Norfolk, Virginia.
Our Kaichō, Steve Johnson Sensei, is envisioning this as a special NKJF Homecoming event, and we would be honored to see you there.
Our goal is to bring together at least 100 participants, with training opportunities for kyū and dan ranks, youth and adults, and practitioners of all experience levels.
We are currently in negotiations with a hotel near Norfolk International Airport, which is offering reasonable room rates and a convenient space to host our training sessions.
More details will be shared in the next few days. For now, please mark your calendar and start spreading the word. We look forward to training together and strengthening our NKJF family.
