At the end of the course, each student will be able to prepare and maintain clay at the proper moisture level for weaving, learn various weaving techniques, learn to cleanly cut shapes from clay and learn to join, compress and reinforce attachments. I’ve participated in the Boardwalk Art Show, the Neptune Festival, Stockley Gardens and many others along the east coast. I was the pottery instructor at Friends School in Virginia Beach and have taught numerous workshops for children and adults. I owned and operated Earth Spirit Pottery in Seagrove, NC in the 90’s.
