December 11: PETA's Norfolk Volunteer Party!

We’ve got a winter evening of animal liberation excitement planned, and you’re invited!

This month, you can also support PETA’s “Christmutts” Toy Drive by bringing new (or gently used) durable squeakies, stuffies, and other toys with you to the Volunteer Party for PETA's Community Animal Project staff members to distribute and bring joy to lonely dogs across southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina who are forced to live outdoors 24/7 in areas where continuous chaining and penning remain legal.

Each month at PETA’s Volunteer Party, you and fellow Norfolk area animal defenders can enjoy campaign and local event updates, delicious vegan food, cold drinks, raffle prizes, and crafting life-saving literature packs for mailing to PETA supporters nationwide.

Last month’s awesome attendees put together 2,193 literature packs while building community and learning new ways to stand up for animals. This FREE event is open to the public and folks of all ages who want to make a difference!
