Join us for our monthly abolition study group and pen-pal writing session! Whether you’re just starting to learn about abolition or you’re a seasoned vet, let’s get together, dream, scheme, and perform the direct action of forming friendships with our incarcerated comrades.

Humanities Behind Bars is a grassroots abolitionist collective of teachers, students, activists, and artists committed to creating networks of care in the larger movement to end systems of punishment.
