Bring your chairs and blankets, and enjoy live music, crafts and contests for the whole family, including a horseshoe tournament, cake walk, picnic games and the annual bike/trike parade and decorating contest! Prizes will be awarded to the most patriotic participants. While attendees may bring their own picnic snacks, food and drinks will be available for purchase.

The Storytellers have emerged as a standout progressive bluegrass band in the Southern California roots music scene. Drawing from the rich traditions of bluegrass, country blues, old-time, and folk music, they create a captivating blend of inspired improvisations and intricate vocal harmonies.
Their performances showcase soulful harmony singing, delicate acoustic arrangements, energetic grooves, and meaningful storytelling—all infused with their unique bluegrass magic. The band has performed at numerous prestigious festivals including the Huck Finn Jubilee, Calico Bluegrass Festival, Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, and June Lake Jam Fest, along with appearances at major county fairs throughout Southern California.
Career highlights include a year-long residency at Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, becoming the first bluegrass band to perform on NAMM's premier stage in 2023, and in 2024, performing at Brookdale Bluegrass Festival with bluegrass legend Peter Rowan and headlining the prestigious Prescott Bluegrass Festival.
The Storytellers are: Scott Diehl (Guitar, Vocals), Lance Frantzich (Bass, Vocals), Tyler Emerson (Fiddle, Vocals), David Burns (Banjo, Vocals), Ethan Van Thillo (Mandolin, Vocals), and Steve Stelmach (Washboard, Percussion).
