Canoeing the Noosa Everglades: A Journey Through Stillness and Wild Beauty

Imagine dipping your paddle into glassy, mirror-like waters, where each stroke glides you deeper into one of only two everglade systems in the world. Canoeing the Noosa Everglades is a serene, immersive experience inviting you to disconnect from the noise of daily life and reconnect with nature in its purest form.

Surrounded by ancient tea trees and towering paperbarks, the calm river winds through pristine wilderness, reflecting the sky and forest so perfectly it feels like you’re floating between two worlds. Birdsong echoes from the treetops—kingfishers, egrets, and sea eagles all make their home here—and dragonflies skim the surface as you move silently through the water.

This is more than just a paddle—it's a meditation in motion. The pace is gentle and unhurried, allowing you to breathe deeply, listen fully, and take in the quiet magic of one of Australia’s best-kept secrets. 

20km canoe journey deep into the everglades, camping for two nights under the stars before making the return canoe journey back. During the time at camp there will be a 12km hike out to the Cooloola Sand Blow, gentle practices and time to connect within and community connection.

You will receive a finalised itinerary closer to the event.
