Meet Your Instructor, Terese Rotenberger Cursive handwriting has been my passion, perhaps because of my deformed thumb, and six reconstructive surgeries, I was always relearning how to hold my pen. As long as I had to relearn my technique, I chose to make he beautiful ornamental script letters found in early American documents. I am pleased to say, that after I turned 50, I have been able to study Spencerian Penmanship in classes taught by Master Penman Michael Sull, Harvest Crittenen and Heather Held. I am a member of the International Association of Master Penman, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting. So the way I look at it my thumb is a HandiGift that has given me the opportunity to create wedding certificates, artwork and share the joy of beautiful penmanship.
