About this trip:
Get ready for a class that’s purr-fectly fun! In this guided crochet along style workshop, you’ll learn step-by-step how to create these whimsical (and a bit cheeky) Cat Butt Coasters.
We provide all of the supplies you’ll need to complete 1 coaster in our time together.
Crochet Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner
Having some knowledge/comfort with basic crochet stitches (single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch) is needed to be able to finish the project during the class time. If not, we’ll set you up well to be able to finish at home!
Meet your Instructor:
Michelle Walka is an artist, creative facilitator, and spiritual director who dabbles in many things.
She is a long time fiber arts enthusiast (with crochet being the beginnings of it all) and delights in the squish of beautiful fiber. She loves to learn new techniques and fiber heritage, especially in community spaces.
When she’s not playing with fibers, you can find her leading contemplative and creative retreat experiences through Beloved Art and Practice (www.BelovedArtandPractice.com) as well as working with Sunlight Tours (www.SunlightTours.org) as their creative director and tour leader.
She lives in Minnesota and enjoys lingering with a good cup of coffee, experimenting with new art materials, and many outdoor adventures with her husband, Keith, and their pup, Rosie.
