Create two handmade stoneware pieces that help turn your garden into a welcoming habitat for nature's hardest workers!

In this two-part clay series, you'll build a Pollinator Plate, a shallow oasis for bees, butterflies, and birds and a cozy Frog Fort, giving beneficial amphibians a cool, protected place to rest. Together, they create a charming garden set that's both beautiful and functional.

Sunday, July 12 | 1:00–4:00 PM
Part 1: Pollinator Plate
Handbuild a 6–8" stoneware plate complete with bee cups, butterfly puddlers, and a bird bath. Shape and decorate your oasis with textures, flowers, leaves, or any details that fit your garden style.

Followed by: Frog Fort
Using handbuilding techniques, you'll create a rounded clay dome with a coordinating base plate. Add doors, windows, mushrooms, vines, stepping stones, or whimsical architectural details to make it uniquely yours. We'll guide you step-by-step, so beginners are always welcome.

Two Weeks Later: Paint Day
Return to glaze both of your creations! Whether you imagine earthy woodland colors, cheerful florals, or magical fairy-garden vibes, you'll finish your Backyard Biodiversity set with your own creative style.

? $60 for the complete series
Includes:
• Both hand building workshops
• Return glazing session for both pieces
• All clay, tools, glazes, instruction, and kiln firings

?? All ages welcome
?‍? Makers under 13 must attend with a helping adult.
? Beginner-friendly with plenty of room for creativity.

When finished, your functional stoneware pieces are designed for outdoor use and will make a beautiful addition to your garden while providing helpful resting places for frogs, bees, butterflies, and birds.
