Teen Homeschool Art: Raku Pottery

Art Zone is offering a new class just for teens! Each month will feature a different project.
Instructor: Catherine Russell
During September we will be learning about Raku pottery!

Classes meet for 4 weeks

10-11am on Monday’s. Open to ages 13 and up. $30 covers the whole month.

Students will explore the Japanese method of Raku firing. Students will choose what to create out of clay and then Raku fire.

Catherine earned has a BSED from MSU with an emphasis is K12 Art. She earned her Masters in Studio Art & Theory from Drury. Catherine taught K-5 Art in Clever for 27yrs. With Laura Rush, Catherine opened Art Zone in 2014.
