Join Art Zone exploring Slip Casting using vintage, plaster molds!
Participants will be learning how to create casting slip from any clay body. You’ll learn how to cast molds and clean castings. Each participant will get to keep a casting of they cleaned and finish with glaze.
This workshop is perfect for ages 12 and up.
We’ll be using Bracker’s Terra Blanc clay. This clay body can be fired cone 05-5. Finished pieces are ready 1 week after the workshop.
While in studio check out all the different clay bodies Art Zone has to offer. Art Zone will also have a variety of molds for sale. Molds range from $1-$5 a piece. These are molds we are clearing out of inventory to make room for new molds.
