- **Event Description**: Amy LaVere i njen suprug Will Sexton sviraće početkom maja u Nišu. Prošlo je 10 godina od njihovog poslednjeg nastupa kod nas. 

Amy LaVere je kantautorka koja peva i svira bas i kontrabas. Njen slatki sopran prepoznatljiv je “na prvu” i jedan je od upečatljivijih u današnjoj alt country ponudi. Mentor joj je bio legendarni Jim Dickinson, a saradnici na albumima pored njega Jimbo Mathus, David Cousar, Luther Dickinson, John Paul Keith i mnogi drugi. 
Uoči objavljivanja prvog albuma Amy se pojavljuje i u dva filma s početka ovog stoleća: „Walk The Line“ iz 2005. (u ulozi Wande Jackson) i „Black Snake Moan“ iz 2006. 
Albumi koji su usledili uvrstili su je u sam vrh modernog americana žanra, a njen sugestivni, karakteristični glas tri puta zaredom odneo je pobedu kao najlepši u Memfisu u oštroj konkurenciji koleginica kao što su Shannon McNally i Valerie June. 

Will je mlađi brat Charlieja Sextona (dugogodišnji gitarista Boba Dylana, poznati studijski muzičar) sa kojim je imao prve bendove pre nego što je postao cenjeni autor, producent i studijski muzičar. Briljantan, virtuozni gitarista kome nije strano da se raspeva kad zatreba jer i to ume. Osim toga bio je ortak tri velika rokenrol heroja (Roky Erickson, Johnny Thunders i Townes Van Zandt). Nekima je samo to dovoljno da veruju ovom gospodinu iz Ostina.
Bračni par Lavere/Sexton vraća se posle punih deset godina. Svašta se izdešavalo u međuvremenu i kod njih, i kod nas, pa će ovo biti zgoda da se razmene iskustva kako smo (pre)živeli godine kada je svet krupnim koracima započeo put u tri lepe. 

Niški koncert održaće se 7. maja u klubu Koncept 222, početak u 21:00. Cena ulaznice 1000 din, na dan koncerta 1500. Pretprodaja: Bilet.rs.
