- **Event Description**: World Migratory Bird Day is celebrated on the second Saturday in May each year as migratory birds journey to their spring nesting sites. Join us for a guided hike through our nature preserve to observe and identify the birds that make Fernwood their seasonal home. General visitors are also encouraged to visit the Sims Education Center bird viewing windows throughout the day to get an up close look at our feathered friends. Binoculars and identification guides provided!

Registration is encouraged. Walk-ins may be accepted, only if space is available.
