Winter Solstice Journey

Connect with the spirit of Winter while immersed in the nature of our urban forest. We'll drum, rattle, and take some meditative Shamanic Journeys to fully align with Winter.

Ceremony starts at noon so please arrive early enough to find Grove 7 parking lot off Harts Road. Look for the lady with the drum. This event is free. Message if you have questions or want us to look for you.

Dress appropriately and feel free to bring something to sit or lie on if you prefer not to stand. Last time we sat at the picnic tables in the open shelter because it was wet.

I'm also doing a 20 minute single journey mini version of this at McFetridge Park between yoga classes on Monday 12/22 at noon. Yoga is drop in if you'd like to do that too - Chair Yoga before and Mat Yoga after. The McFetridge Meditation class will be indoor and drop in with the same journey as well.

For those far away, I'm guiding the Zoom circle through Journey of the Soul on Wednesday 12/17. For those near the Illiana border, Journey of the Soul is having an in person indoor event Friday 12/19.
