Join us for an introductory evening of Bolt Action (Second Edition) at Reddhill Games and Electronics on Thursday, February 12 at 7:00 PM (ET).
Bolt Action is a World War II tabletop miniatures game produced by Warlord Games, designed to place players directly in the role of battlefield commanders. The game emphasizes tactical decisions, momentum, and narrative action, allowing players to direct their combined forces units through fast-paced historical scenarios. From Normandy to Norway, from Guam to a hypothetical Invasion of Georgia, and from Dieppe to Downtown Berlin, commanders can shape battlefields across the globe.
This session is designed for players of all skill levels, who want to learn the game. 40k players might find the rules familiar, but novices to wargaming as a whole are more than welcome and indeed are encouraged to come! We will cover how the game functions at a high level, discuss basic army lists, and most importantly, play through some demonstration games with pre-fixed lists to allow for plenty of dice rolling. No prior experience is required.
All materials will be provided, including armies, terrain, rules, and measuring tools. Attendees are only asked to bring themselves, a willingness to learn, and optionally a favorite set of six-sided dice. Light refreshments may also make an appearance.
