Daarom nog één rondje om nooit meer te vergeten”, aldus zanger/gitarist Hans Vandenburg. Om er de voor hem typerende grap aan toe te voegen: “Stop motion voordat we langdurig moeten worden opgenomen…”

Naast de karakteristieke frontman en creatieve kracht Vandenburg bestaat de bezetting uit de zangeressen Lies Schilp & Inge Bonthond, aka Bombitas. Toetsenist is het jeugdige talent Len de Quant, die in 2024 het stokje overnam van zijn trotse leermeester en te vroeg overleden Peter Calicher. Natuurlijk zijn oerlid en drummer Max Mollinger en ook bassist Tim Barning weer van de partij.

‘Hey Girl’, ‘Beep Beep Love’, ‘Disco Really Made It’, ‘Tokyo’ en ‘Rock ’n Roll’ zijn enkele van de nederpopklassiekers die we mogen verwachten. Maar Gruppo Sportivo kennende zal de legendarische band ook de nieuwe single 'Talkshow' spelen en een aantal heel eigenzinnige keuzes uit het omvangrijke repertoire maken.
