Anaphora Trio was dit jaar één van de, en onbetwist de meest bijzondere, winnaar van Keep An Eye - The Records, waaraan een complete album-opname en tour is verbonden.

En dus is daar, na het succesvol ontvangen debuutalbum, nu een tweede cd van het Anaphora trio. Én wat voor één. De Italiaanse, non-binaire pianist-componist Filippo Deorsola kreeg met het winnen van The Records de kans om zijn [droom]project te presenteren.

Het resultaat, getiteld Bloom, is een album vol zeer originele composities. Een fascinerend spel van cyclische patronen, dansbare grooves, gongs, techno-achtige beats, lyrische melodieën en andere intrigerende klankwerelden. 
Deorsola is een oorspronkelijke, authentieke, en queer, Italiaanse pianinist en componist, en heeft o.a. in de talentvolle Singaporese bassist en multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Ho Chin Kiat (o.a. Andrew Moreno Trio, Atma, The Giraffes e.a.) een gelijkgestemde muzikale compaan in huis die de weg naar de toekomst van de jazz wijst.

A colourful textural space influenced by Balinese Gamelan where techno-reminiscent urban grooves bond with cyclical machineries and hypnotic melodies."
