Stap op 15 februari binnen in Het Veerhuis en laat jezelf meevoeren naar de tijd waarin muziek nog rechtstreeks uit het hart kwam. RockPlace brengt twee legendarische bands samen voor een onvergetelijke trip door de gouden jaren van soul, rock, country en oldies.

WINDFALL – 45 jaar pure klasse

Wat in 1977 begon als het vervolg op The Shaking Spiders, groeide uit tot één van de meest veelzijdige en geliefde bands van Nederland.
Windfall is geen band die simpelweg speelt — Windfall beleeft de muziek. Met tomeloze energie, een scherp gevoel voor sfeer en een repertoire dat drie decennia omvat, weten zij ieder publiek moeiteloos in beweging te krijgen.

Van The Beatles tot Pointer Sisters, van Doobie Brothers tot Dusty Springfield, van Elvis Presley tot The Eagles – Windfall brengt het allemaal met vakmanschap, warmte en een herkenbare eigen sound.
De band tourde jarenlang door Nederland, België en Duitsland, scoorde in 1995 zelfs een 4e plek in de Amerikaanse Hit Review Top 40 met “Steppin’ on a Saturday Night”, en was te zien bij Veronica’s Western Lifestyle en Omroep MAX.

Windfall bracht zes albums uit, won het befaamde Country Festival in Uden, stond in talloze radioprogramma’s en blijft – zelfs na 45 jaar – met dezelfde gedrevenheid werken aan kwaliteit en vernieuwing.
Elke repetitie, ieder optreden: alles draait om één ding… het publiek een fantastische middag of avond bezorgen.

CLIFF AND HIS LONE STARS – rauw, energiek en authentiek

Sinds 1999 knallen Cliff and his Lone Stars met ongepolijste Indo-Rock en pure Rock ’n’ Roll door zalen als een locomotief zonder remmen.
Vanaf het eerste moment stond vast: deze band doet nergens half werk.

Tijdens hun optreden op de allereerste Rockin’ Wouw bewezen ze direct hun veelzijdigheid door hun repertoire uit te breiden met krachtige, tijdloze 50’s en early 60’s klassiekers.
Met hun vintage sound, vurige podiumuitstraling en oprechte liefde voor het genre zetten ze iedere zaal op z’n kop.
Bij Cliff and his Lone Stars blijft niemand stilstaan — dit is Rock ’n’ Roll zoals Rock ’n’ Roll bedoeld is.
