Feel good with live jazz at Sarah's Jazz Club on Wednesdays in April with The Marios Toumbas Trio.

The Cyprus based “Marios Toumbas Trio” is the result of an exciting collaboration between Berklee graduates and long time friends, pianist Marios Toumbas, double bassist  Irenaeos Koulouras and drummer Ioannis Vafeas. 

Led by distinguished pianist Toumbas, the group performs arrangements from the Post-bop era, as well as compositions by great jazz composers such as Clifford Brown, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea and Joey Calderazzo.

Some original music by Toumbas is also included in their repertoire.

Demetris Moraitis is a young Greek/Cypriot jazz guitarist studying at the Ionian University. Born into a musical family, he began lessons early. As a third-generation musician, studied with renowned Greek and Cypriot artists. He has performed at major jazz festivals across Europe with the Vafeas Quartet and is an active member of the local music scene.
