The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Association for Social Reform (OPEK) warmly invites you to a special evening featuring the documentary Eddy’s War, in the presence of renowned Dutch war photographer Eddy van Wessel.

After spending four years documenting the war in Ukraine from the frontlines, Eddy van Wessel will come to Nicosia to share firsthand insights into his work and the humanitarian realities of the war. His photography offers a rare and personal perspective on the human impact of conflict.

The screening will be followed by a live Q&A session with Eddy, moderated by OPEK, giving you the opportunity to engage directly with him, ask questions, and reflect on the stories behind the images.

The evening will conclude with a reception, offering the chance to meet Eddy and connect with members of civil society, journalists, students, and colleagues.
