We would greatly appreciate your participation in the AI, Manipulation and Media Literacy Summit, organized by the Turkish Cypriot Journalists Association and the Human Rights Platform, with contributions from the Union of Cyprus Journalists, Fact-Check Cyprus, and the Center of Research and Communication for Peace. The event is funded by the European Union. The summit will host experienced academics and journalists from across Europe, Greece, Turkey, and from the Republic of Cyprus and the northern part of Cyprus, creating a unique opportunity for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and cooperation at both local and international levels.
AI, Manipulation and Media Literacy Summit is a one-day stakeholder meeting that aims to address the multidimensional impact of artificial intelligence and algorithms on media, raise awareness about manipulation and disinformation techniques, and strengthen media literacy skills. The summit will bring together journalists, academics, fact-checkers, civil society representatives, and other relevant stakeholders to discuss shared challenges and possible solutions in this rapidly changing digital environment.
Σύνοδος Κορυφής για την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη, τη Χειραγώγηση και τον Γραμματισμό στα Μέσα

Το Έργο της Πλατφόρμας Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων χρηματοδοτείται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση στο πλαίσιο του Προγράμματος Χρηματοδοτικής Βοήθειας για την τουρκοκυπριακή κοινότητα και υλοποιείται από την Πλατφόρμα Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων.
Θα εκτιμούσαμε ιδιαίτερα τη συμμετοχή σας στη Σύνοδο για την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη, τη Χειραγώγηση και τον Γραμματισμό στα Μέσα, η οποία διοργανώνεται από την Ένωση Τουρκοκύπριων Δημοσιογράφων και την Πλατφόρμα Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων, με τη συμβολή της Ένωσης Δημοσιογράφων Κύπρου, του Fact-Check Cyprus και του Κέντρου Έρευνας και Επικοινωνίας για την Ειρήνη. Η εκδήλωση χρηματοδοτείται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση.

Η σύνοδος θα φιλοξενήσει έμπειρους ακαδημαϊκούς και δημοσιογράφους από όλη την Ευρώπη, την Ελλάδα, την Τουρκία, καθώς και από την Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία και το βόρειο τμήμα της Κύπρου, δημιουργώντας μια μοναδική ευκαιρία για διάλογο, ανταλλαγή γνώσεων και συνεργασία σε τοπικό και διεθνές επίπεδο.

Η Σύνοδος για την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη, τη Χειραγώγηση και τον Γραμματισμό στα Μέσα είναι μια μονοήμερη συνάντηση ενδιαφερόμενων μερών που αποσκοπεί στην αντιμετώπιση των πολυδιάστατων επιπτώσεων της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης και των αλγορίθμων στα μέσα ενημέρωσης, στην ενίσχυση της ευαισθητοποίησης σχετικά με τις τεχνικές χειραγώγησης και παραπληροφόρησης, καθώς και στην ενδυνάμωση των δεξιοτήτων γραμματισμού στα μέσα.

Η σύνοδος θα φέρει σε επαφή δημοσιογράφους, ακαδημαϊκούς, επαγγελματίες επαλήθευσης πληροφοριών, εκπροσώπους της κοινωνίας των πολιτών και άλλους συναφείς φορείς, προκειμένου να συζητήσουν τις κοινές προκλήσεις και πιθανές λύσεις σε αυτό το ταχέως μεταβαλλόμενο ψηφιακό περιβάλλον.

Yapay Zeka, Manipülasyon ve Medya Okuryazarlığı Zirvesi

İnsan Hakları Platformu Projesi, Kıbrıs Türk toplumuna yönelik AB Mali Yardım Programı kapsamında Avrupa Birliği tarafından finanse edilmekte ve İnsan Hakları Platformu tarafından uygulanmaktadır.

Kıbrıs Türk Gazeteciler Birliği ve İnsan Hakları Platformu tarafından, Kıbrıs Gazeteciler Sendikası, Fact-Check Cyprus ve Barış İçin Araştırma ve İletişim Merkezi’nin katkılarıyla düzenlenen Yapay Zeka, Manipülasyon ve Medya Okuryazarlığı Zirvesi’ne katılımınızı memnuniyetle bekleriz. Etkinlik Avrupa Birliği tarafından finanse edilmektedir.

Zirve; Avrupa, Yunanistan, Türkiye, Kıbrıs Cumhuriyeti ve Kıbrıs’ın kuzeyinden deneyimli akademisyenleri ve gazetecileri bir araya getirerek, yerel ve uluslararası düzeyde diyalog, bilgi paylaşımı ve iş birliği için önemli bir fırsat sunacaktır.

Yapay Zeka, Manipülasyon ve Medya Okuryazarlığı Zirvesi; yapay zeka ve algoritmaların medya üzerindeki çok boyutlu etkilerini ele almayı, manipülasyon ve dezenformasyon tekniklerine ilişkin farkındalığı artırmayı ve medya okuryazarlığı becerilerini güçlendirmeyi amaçlayan bir günlük bir paydaş toplantısıdır.
Zirve kapsamında gazeteciler, akademisyenler, doğrulama uzmanları, sivil toplum temsilcileri ve diğer ilgili paydaşlar bir araya gelerek, hızla değişen dijital ortamda karşılaşılan ortak zorlukları ve olası çözüm yollarını tartışacaktır.
