This will be a two-day immersion event with combat taking place on Saturday January 24, 2026, at the GWA trenches in Newville, Pennsylvania. 

The setting for this event will be the Carpathian Front, 1917, in Romania. Participants will take part in immersive scenarios and combat designed to reflect the unique conditions and challenges of the Eastern Front campaign. 

All attending units and individuals are encouraged to prepare impressions appropriate to the Carpathian theater of 1917. Specific guidelines, rules, and registration information will be released as the event date approaches.
This looks to be an excellent opportunity for the chance to explore a seldom-represented front of the Great War and will hopefully become something bigger in the future.
