This event will feature a guest spot from musical comedian Mimi, an Audience Limerick competition, a “community poem” created by you. Yes, you. Some surprising proclamations from Roz the town crier, a panda in a headlock, and a few references to Noel Edmunds. This is poetry for people who don’t like poetry. And comedy for people who aren’t too discerning.

Get involved in the Limerick Slam by writing an original limerick ahead of the night and reading it onstage. The best 2 limerick writers will then have around 30mins to write a new limerick on the spot. The winner will receive a box of broken biscuits.
