ShoreNI Beachcombing at Millisle
With every tide new treasures wash onto the beach just waiting to be found, join Ulster Wildlife at Millisle Beach for a treasure hunt of the sea design. Learn the names of common sea shells, uncover the secrets of mermaid purses and discover the importance of the strandline as a habitat. You will also have an opportunity to contribute to science by using pictures to record what you see and find out how this data is being used.
2 mile slow walk along sandy beach.
Please wear suitable clothing for the weather and sturdy footwear.
Children welcome be must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Onsite parking
Nearest toilets are in carpark
