Week 1 - Sewing Skills
Learn to thread a machine, understand grainlines, how to prep your fabric for sewing and how to stitch a variety of seams 

Week 2 - Dressmaking Pattern Time
Learn to accurately take your body measurements, to read a commercial dressmaking pattern, fitting theory, use of darts and select a pattern to make

Week 3 - Cutting Time
Learn about toiles, cut your paper pattern and cut your calico for your toile

Week 4 - Fitting Time
Learn how to fit your toile and update your paper pattern

Weeks 5 & 6 - Garment Time
Cut your garment fabric and use your newly learned skills to construct your garment!

Morning and weekend options available. DM to book your place. 

Classes will be kept to a maximum of 6 to allow for one on one support.
