During the Revolution, taverns were much more than places to grab a drink. They were community gathering spots, political meeting places, news centers, and even military headquarters. And, of course, music was everywhere!

The Boys of County Bucks—Bob Roach and Pete Peters—will bring the 18th century to life with songs that Americans sang in taverns, homes, and on street corners from **1765–1789**. With fiddle, English guitar, penny whistle, bones, and plenty of singing, they’ll share songs that reflect the very real divisions of the time, including those who supported independence and those who opposed it.

Come ready to sing along, learn a little history, and have some fun! This one-hour program is thoroughly researched, entertaining, and a wonderful way to experience the American Revolution from a different perspective.
