Join us for this unique opportunity at Rushton Woods Preserve!
As spring migration begins, you will have the opportunity to observe bird banding and to learn all about the process.
Teaching children and adults the value of conservation, the importance of preserving open space, and the value and use of scientific research skills are the passions that we strive to share with all of the participants who visit our bird banding station.
All ages welcome!
Banding begins as early as 7 AM but we would like to meet as a group any time after 8 AM. Depending on the activity, it could end at 11 AM or a little later. This is a come-and-go event. You don't need to be there at any specific time or stay until the end.

The banding station is entirely outdoors, and you may have to walk through wet grass or mud to reach the station; please dress appropriately. `Video is prohibited, but photography is permitted. There are restrooms on-site.
Non-Refundable Donations: This is a donation-based event. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Willistown Rushton Preserve. Your support is appreciated!
