Mary Kate grew up in Newton watching the marathon every year, and now, having returned to her hometown, gets to live out her childhood dream. Mary Kate's first experience with Spark Newton runs all the way back to when she was a 4th grader painting storefronts through the Halloween Window Painting, one of our sponsored programs. We're honored to have her support our programming that keeps our community vibrant, connected, and joyful.We can't wait to cheer for Mary Kate along Commonwealth Avenue in hopes of conquering Heartbreak Hill on her way to the finish line. We wish her a great race and to complete the 26.2 miles with her personal best. Please support Mary Kate's race by making a donation to her fundraising page.To help raise funds we will be hosting a party for Mary Kate on February 24 at Baramor in Newton Centre from 5:30-7:30 PM with drinks, live music and lite bites.
