During the Vietnam War, the US military sprayed chemical defoliants throughout Vietnam's lush terrain to destroy forests and deprive food to guerrillas. The most heavily used defoliant was Agent Orange. Agent Orange is known to cause severe maladies across multiple generations. Its effects are still omnipresent today. Although not widely known, Agent Orange came to fruition from a study to make soybean plants yield fruit earlier. 
Thus, the title of this exhibition - Failed Not - is an anagram of - Defoliant - to symbolically reverse the destruction of Agent Orange. It is a reminder to always look for the good in bad, the light in dark, and the positive in destruction.

Trong cuộc chiến ở Việt Nam, quân đội Mỹ sử dụng hoá chất rụng lá trên các cánh rừng của Việt Nam nhằm diệt lá xanh và lấy đi nguồn cung cấp thực phẩm của du kích. Hoá chất được sử dụng nặng nề nhất là chất độc da cam. Chất độc da cam gây ra những hậu quả nặng nề với các loại bệnh tật ở nhiều thế hệ khác nhau. Mặc dù vậy, ít người biết rằng chất độc này ban đầu đến từ một nghiên cứu nông nghiệp nhằm giúp cây đậu nành rụng lá để kết trái sớm hơn.
Vì vậy, tiêu đề của triển lãm này - Failed Not (tạm dịch: đừng thất bại) - là những chữ cái được sắp xếp lại của - Defoliant (chất rụng lá)- nhằm đảo ngược lại một cách tượng trưng những tác hại huỷ diệt do chất độc da cam gây ra. Đây là một cách để nhắc nhở chúng ta hãy nhìn thấy những điều tốt trong cái xấu, ánh sáng trong bóng tối, và những niềm lạc quan ngay cả trong sự huỷ diệt.
