Believers from across the United States gathered before the Lord on the National Mall through nonstop worship, prayer, and the breaking of bread. It was a sacred moment of unity across generations, churches, and movements centered on the person of Jesus and the power of His body and blood. The event concluded with tens of thousands gathering around a communion table the length of the National Mall to celebrate communion.This year, on September 24-26, rather than gathering in one location, Awaken the Dawn is inviting leaders across cities, campuses, and nations to host their own local expressions of worship, prayer, and communion.In Catawba County, we will be hosting Come to the Table in Newton, NC, on the grounds of First Baptist Church Newton. We will begin Thursday, September 24, at 6 p.m.   BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS.Thursday, September 24, 6- 8 p.m.: A night of worship, prayer, and stories of transformation.Friday, September 25, 6 -8 p.m.: Gen Z night celebrating the freedom we can only find through Jesus!Saturday, September 26, 6 - 8 p.m.: We will begin at 6 pm by eating together, so bring food for you and your family.  Our meal will be followed by a time of worship.  At 8 p.m., we will celebrate communion together as the Body of Christ.  All the Come to the Table sites across the nation will be celebrating communion at the same time.
