The mowers are back!

Join us at Hennock Hideaways for an afternoon of grass roots mower racing, featuring everything from seasoned racers to complete lunatics with too much time on their hands and access to spanners.

Gates open at 11.30am
Racing starts at 12pm

Expect plenty of racing, close battles, questionable overtakes, mechanical failures, laughter and a great atmosphere throughout the day.

This is the 3rd race of the season, so championship points are on the line and the bragging rights are getting serious.

Tickets

? Day Ticket: £5 per person
For daytime mower racing only.

? Evening Ticket: £5 per person
Entry from 6pm for The Velocirocktors, The Pizza Co and football on the outdoor stage at 10pm.

? Full Day Ticket: £8 per person
Includes daytime racing, evening entertainment and football on the outdoor stage.

? Camping Ticket: £15 per person
Includes full Saturday entry plus Saturday night camping.

? Under 12s go free across all tickets

Anyone who has already bought one of the original tickets, don’t panic. Your ticket is still valid and will be honoured.

Camping spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.

Food

JJ Meats will be here over the lunchtime period, keeping everyone fed while the mowers do their best not to fall apart.

Jonny Blue Ice Cream Van will also be here over the afternoon, which is excellent news because it’s looking hot and ice cream counts as hydration if you don’t ask too many questions.

The Pizza Co will be here from 6pm onwards, so evening food is covered too.

Once the racing finishes for the day, stick around as local favourites The Velocirocktors play live on the stage from 6.30pm.

Then at 10pm, we’ll be showing the football on the outdoor stage, so bring a chair, grab some food and settle in for England on the big screen under the stars.

Camping Information

Parking will be in the field next door on arrival. For safety reasons, no camping equipment can be set up while racing is taking place.

Once the racing has finished and we have cleared the area of spectators, campers will be able to move into the main event field and pitch up for the evening.

Please be patient and follow directions from marshals and event staff. Safety comes first.

If you’re camping, be warned: the racers may decide to continue racing on Sunday morning, so don’t expect a lie in! ?

What to bring

Bring a chair or something to sit on, as seating is limited.

It’s looking hot, so please bring shade, umbrellas, gazebos, hats, sun cream and plenty of water. We don’t need anyone slowly turning into a pork scratching.

Bring your sense of humour too. You’ll need it.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads and under control.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Please follow all marshal instructions and safety signs. Mower racing is a live motorsport event, so spectators must stay in public areas and away from the track and pits.

Come for a couple of hours or stay for the lot.

This is mower racing, not Silverstone. Manage your expectations accordingly.
