Angela Dodd-Crompton has dedicated years of her life to uncovering the secrets of the forgotten Italian Gardens. She has meticulously researched the story of the garden's creator, Arthur Smith Graham and will share her photographs, knowledge and hypotheses with us. It's quite a story. If you were lucky enough to get a space on the Tour around the Italian Gardens on June 5th, this fascinating address will add another level of understanding to the history of these wonderful gardens, very nearly lost.
Tickets are non-refundable, and full payment by May 20th secures your space. Members £6 Non-members £8.
Why not stay for lunch afterwards to discuss what we have just learnt? Or skip the talk and meet us at 1pm for conversation and friendship over some food? We have a table at The Bell Inn, not far from the venue. Please let me know if you plan to have lunch, with or without the Talk, so that I can reserve a suitably sized table. Lunch cost is not included in ticket price and will be dependent on your order choices. A £10 deposit is required for lunch reservation, along with your dinner choice.
