Tickets : free to book/donation – this is a volunteer run non-profit event. This documentary is crowdfunded, independent, and non-profit. The aim is to tell the stories of people in Europe; describe the broader, systemic isues; to stop fascism; and to inspire community action. 'Fires and Fascism & how communities are fighting back to create change' is an inspirational documentary to show how groups in Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal are responding to the fires that are growing in intensity through closer connections with nature, with each other, and with political decision-making.

The film shows how fascist regimes have facilitated capitalist ventures that have created the fires. It explores how Europe’s wildfires are tied to organised crime and big business, and showcases grassroots resistance.

The film was crowdfunded and filmed by a first-time filmmaker who travelled across five countries by public transport, interviewing people he met at the sites of some of Europe's largest wildfires. People were given the choice to speak in their native languages, and it is fully subtitled in English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and German, with Greek and French versions being worked on currently.
