????? ?????, ??? ?? ??????, is a well-seasoned force in the conscious dance music scene: fusing the sassy, the sacred, and the ceremonial into sets that are sensual, deep, and unapologetically alive. Weaving multi-genre global soundscapes with rich textures, deep bass, and hypnotic grooves, she ignites dance floors worldwide.

Expect a sonic feast that’s sexy, transcendent, and dripping with nectar, each set a fresh frequency transmission.

As the visionary behind Ecstatic Dance Melbourne, Madhu has spent the past 8 years cultivating one of the city’s most vibrant conscious dance floors. Nectar has travelled globally, lighting up spaces from Yoga Barn and Bali Spirit Festival to the shores of Hawai‘i, NZ Spirit Festival, Lake Atitlan, Costa Rica, Transcendance Festival (Mexico), and Byron Bay Ecstatic Dance, to name a few.

With a deep understanding of musical energetics, DJ Nectar reads the room with precision; riding the wave and elevating the collective into raw, connected, ecstatic states. A true conductor of energy, her sets blend playful beats, live vocals, and instrumentation into immersive, full-body experiences. This is more than a set: it’s a ceremonial transmission. A full-body invitation into sound and movement as liberation. An embodied Sonic Portal!

The event will be opened with a cacao ceremony to set our intentions and support your dance journey. Sourced from Tonzantin - Aztec Artisan Chocolate, made in ceremony, organic, sustainable, and stone ground with blue corn and a subtle amount of chilli; this is high quality, delicious medicine. Following the set, you will be provided with a simple, nourishing meal to ground and replenish your energy. The kitchen queen Nectar Connector will serve a grounding root vegetable and pumpkin soup, with bread provided by local alchemists at Hestia Bakery.

This event will be held on Djaara country at the stunning retreat centre Arisiag in Yandoit, just 15 minutes from central Castlemaine.

Please note that to hold the ceremonial container, doors and entry will close at 3pm. We suggest arriving early, so we have enough time to welcome you and serve cacao before we begin at 3pm sharp.
