Want to try out a club session before you join as a member? No problem, join us as a non-member to enjoy some waves and good company.

If you are a member there are no restrictions on your attendance, you can join any day and as many sessions as you want!

Whether you are just starting out, or want to improve your surf and sea skills NWSC is here to guide you on your surfing adventure.

Surf Club runs weekly throughout the year from our bases in Newquay. If you have never tried surfing don’t worry, we can provide you with the basic tuition to get you started.

If you are already an experienced surfer we offer progressive surf tuition and video analysis at our club sessions to help you advance your skills and improve your confidence.

Whatever your reason for joining NWSC whether it be to get more active, increase your confidence, meet new friends, learn something new or just to get better at surfing, you are all welcome!

All sessions includes a 1.5 hour surf session with both theory and in water practice. All equipment is available if you need it and one of our team in the water with your group to offer surf tips, advice and encouragement.

Suitable for all levels from complete beginner, improver, intermediate and advanced


Meeting Point
Sign in with your instructors outside of Quiksilver Surf School Newquay, TR7 1PS between 6:15pm-6:30pm

Parking
Free roadside parking is available, this is public parking and can get busy. The closest car parks are South Fistral Car Park TR7 1NX, Pentire Headland TR7 1PF

What to bring
Equipment hire is £2.50 per item please select the correct option at booking, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Arrive surf ready in your wetsuit if you can.

Bring a towel and swimwear for changing if you are borrowing a wetsuit.

Itinerary
Surfing! Each session includes a short theory session and 1 hour in water surfing time.

Leave for the beach 6:30pm

Warm up, discuss surf conditions 6:40pm

Split into ability groups and cover relevant theory 6:50pm

Surf 7pm-8pm
