Do you know someone who could become a Rockpool Ranger?
Crabbing and rockpooling have long been beloved seaside traditions, but many don’t realise how stressful these activities can be for the wildlife involved. We knew it was time to change that.
This summer, we’re proud to launch Crustacean Compassion’s Rockpool Ranger campaign, offering a kind, compassionate and exciting way for families to explore the magic of Cornwall’s shores, while putting marine life welfare first.
Join us at one of five family-friendly events, where children, beachgoers, and marine lovers can become Rockpool Rangers.
Led by our loveable mascot Henry the Hermit Crab and the Crustacean Compassion team, we’ll showcase responsible rockpooling using special underwater telescopes - no buckets or nets needed - and share educational packs and goodies designed to spark curiosity and creativity in our younger supporters.
